In addition, before the race, players should choose the appropriate equipment, especially when it comes to mechanical problems, carbon fiber wheelset and aluminum wheelset use different brake blocks, if you put on the preparatory wheel, but did not take this into account, I am afraid that the brake will lose its proper braking ability.
Considering the maintenance cost, the coach also suggested the runners to use the aluminum wheelsets in the rainy days to avoid gravel abrasion on the carbon wheelsets, which would cause damage.
In addition, players should use gloves and windbreaker after the summit, with the supplement of hot food to warm up the body before descending, so as to prevent the stiffness of the players' hands caused by low temperature and maintain the sensitivity of the fingers when braking.
If you are still affected by the low temperature at the top of the mountain and feel uncomfortable, the coach suggests using safe sections to do hand shaking and stretching to help blood flow.
2. Downhill section
During the race, you will only need to use the brakes when cornering and going downhill. You should be alert at all times on the downhill section, and be ready in advance at about 100 meters when you expect the need to brake ahead.
After climbing to the top, it is also recommended that players pay attention to their own safety when going downhill, mainly at low speed, training is still focused on climbing, downhill is the first priority to ease, take the strength of cornering and straight line acceleration, seasoned players may be able to respond quickly in 30-50 meters, but general players should slow down in 80-100 meters in advance to measure safety.
3. Roadblocks and bumpy roads
When encountering a predictable bumpy road, drivers should avoid over-relaxing and pressing into the "ostrich eggs" or potholes in the road, and lowers with poor vision will be a big no-no. Hold on to the change handle or lower handle, keep running in a straight line, and pass naturally after slowing down.
In addition, do not rely too much on following the car, especially in professional competitions, you may encounter poor visibility or rival team players digging holes for you to jump, and there are even cases of players failing to dodge and directly hitting the poles, so do not be cautious.
If you encounter obstacles on the road, whether it is small gravel or large rocks, it is quite dangerous for cyclists. It is recommended that you also start with the rear brake first, followed by the front brake, and go around the outside.
If your reaction is fast enough, after the horizontal pedal with the rider to pull up, flying over the obstacles is not too difficult for players, and is also very common in international competition.
4. Pre-race site survey
If you are not a landlord or experienced veteran, you must prepare in advance for foreign or unfamiliar roads. Even if you line up in a downhill array, it is inevitable that you will encounter uneven conditions of players, and even if you follow the car, you must pay attention to the front and rear, left and right sides in time to react, as subtle changes in an instant may cause injury.
A small reminder: when using the rear brake, to grasp the "contain" slowly rub the key, rather than an instant emergency stop, so as to avoid skidding, or even cause a rollover situation.
